Each and every piece of American West Jewelry is New Mexico true to its name, designed and handcrafted in the heart of the Southwest – Albuquerque, New Mexico. Best known for our hot air balloons, majestic sunsets and spicy red and green chile, New Mexico also has a long and fascinating legacy of jewelry making rooted in the Native American and Spanish cultures that first populated this land. This is only one reason why it has always been of highest importance to us that the creation of our beautiful jewelry never stray far from home.
With our jewelry workshop just next door to our offices, we are able to watch our ideas go from sketches in a notebook to the beautiful, unique jewelry that finds its home amongst a community of bold and adventuresome women worldwide. This also allows us to maintain the highest standards of perfection in each piece of jewelry that we create. On any given day we can walk next door and watch artisans like Quynh and Gilbert pour silver, set stones, or lovingly package your next order.
We proudly employ over 70 members of the community, creating valuable job opportunities that in turn keep our local economy strong so we can all continue to thrive together in this special, vibrant place. Using all reclaimed sterling silver, and keeping our jewelry 100% American-made also decreases our carbon footprint, which helps us rest assured we are doing our part to preserve this beautiful planet that we all share.
When you wear your favorite pieces of American West Jewelry, I hope you do so proudly, knowing that you have made a difference by empowering our American economy and each of our team members’ lives and their family’s lives. We know you have many choices when it comes to jewelry, and we thank you for choosing us!
